The Gonads USA are set to record their three-track debut ep next Easter; if all goes to plan the taster could be released as early as Summer. Our West Coast tour features in the Daily Star Sunday edition published on Christmas Eve.
Parousia, the Gonads ‘Oi opera’ also known as The Quest For The Golden Goblets is said to be “60 per cent written – the choruses and melodies are in the bag”; but there are no immediate plans to record and release the controversial opus.
These are the confirmed dates for our ‘40 Years Of Failure’ US mini-tour which will be filmed as part of the American documentary movie Get Your Gonads USA. A new twelve track compilation album American Gonads will be released in conjunction with the dates by Black Hole Records of Philadelphia.

Our Dirty Metal album and the GBX full-length debut are in pre-production. Both are expected to be released next Summer.
Dates are confirmed for a Gonads USA mini-tour in November. They include Alex’s Bar, Long Beach on the 12th, the Viper Room on Sunset Strip, Los Angeles on 15th, Til 2 Club, San Diego on 16th and The Dive Bar, Las Vegas on the 18th. A possible San Francisco date may follow.
GBX, the Garry Bushell Experience, release their debut single, Saturday Night Beneath The Plastic Palm Trees, on 4th August. The song backed with a brand new, fully electric version of 'Beer Can Boogie' will be available as a download on our own Soitainly label via Cadiz.
We play the first Punks Against Homelessness fund-raising show on 1st October at the New Cross Inn, south east London, with Infa-Riot, Bexatron, Noel Martin's Evil B'stards, Spizz, Max Splodge and Just Dennis. The all-dayer is part of the Musicians Against Homelessness campaign. All monies raised will go to Crisis.
We will play Polly Fest on October 21st at the legendary Dublin Castle in Camden. Named after the late and lovely Polly Styrene, the star-studded night will raise money for the Rock 'n' Roll Rescue charity.
Our split single with Russian band Uchitel Truda is out now on Germany's Steel Town Records. It's called We Will Never Be Divided Volume One.
We are in the studio next month recording a new single which will be released in late Summer.
Our spin-off group DMG are working on a sophomore single following the critical acclaim for their 'Made In London' debut. The new release is likely to be 'Critical Mass'/'Jimi'.
The full-length movie Curry On Up The Gonads is now officially in pre-production. Hollywood producer Sandie West describes the project as "a punk rock Spinal Tap". GBX will play a charity gig in Portsmouth in November organised by the Hampshire Skinheads Association.
Clyde Ward has rejoined the Gonads. Clyde permanently replaces Gentleman John on bass guitar.
Our new spin-off group, the Garry Bushell Experience (GBX) is expected to launch officially later this year. The band is said to be "similar in lyrical feel to the Gonads but musically much broader".
